WOODWARD RESIDENCE
The Woodward Residence in Lutherville, Maryland, underwent a transformation in 2021, turning the 6.5-acre property into a series of inviting outdoor spaces for relaxation, gardening, and entertaining. The design created distinct yet interconnected garden "rooms" that complement the Dutch Colonial home, including a refreshed pool area, a bluestone living terrace with a fire pit, and a dining terrace framed by ornamental serviceberry trees. Grading adjustments allowed for seamless transitions between these spaces, while new plantings bring year-round interest. A refined yet naturalistic approach ensures that the gardens feel both elegant and deeply connected to the surrounding landscape.
